There is nothing like a pearl earring to truly enhance a lovely outfit for a wedding or for any occasion really. This is why I make a huge variety of pearl earrings with stones and sterling but we have a lovely collection of Pearl Earrings on Chains that I want to share with you today
I have recently come across a site that sells a similar necklace to one of my own designs that I created in 2006. The Price tag however soars to around $400 whilst mine sold at a much more reasonable price. It amazes me, sometimes how one of my designs can take years to catch on to the mainstream pearl jewellery purchaser. I of course sold many of these particular black and white pearl and black tourmaline pieces years ago and recently sold an onyx and white pearl one on my Etsy e-Store. Today I thought I would share these stunning pieces with you and was just, thinking on this lovely Sunday morning, that I better go about remaking more!
Below are the variety of styles we began producing way back in 2006! and are now on the come back trail and trending in Australia. I will be sure to keep everyone updated when I have made more of these lovely long pearl, black and white necklaces.
I just love being in production and get so excited to see the end results of a new design or even one I have made for 20 years. Thought I would share this image of our artisan, who is currently working on creating a few new pieces for us.
New stocks will be in shortly of the Lobe Lift earring. We went into production today let’s hope all goes smoothly and I will have fresh supplies shortly.
Just as a reminder how fantastic these lobe lifts are – please re watch the little video I made a few years back – see what the fuss is about!
A few years ago I made a quick little video on our longer pearl drop earrings and hopefully those who haven’t see it yet may enjoy it. I was discussing earrings I use with clip ons but explained that we have the same style with a post.
Kate Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge is such an icon and often wears a pearl Earring. Amongst her collection, is a gold hoop white drop pearl earring that is often part of her best loved and most worn accessories.
I have always loved a hoop pearl earring and have just re made this style again. Finding a good matching set of full drop pearls in nice quality is not easy. I think I have chosen well, as, as we know, to match pearls into perfect sets, is darn near impossible.
Here are the two new sets I have just places on my Etsy store Julleen Jewels.
Before purchasing online you should always check out the Feedback. On each store site they should have a Comment of Feedback tab for the public to view.
I am very happy to report that many of my customers have told me they chose me, as they loved my designs but also because I have a good view-able Feedback section on each of my sites.
I am sure that buying online is easier today than it has ever been but still you need to be able to trust your seller and then you can safely buy from all over the world. Although many of my items are very affordable every once and a while I get one customer who wants something quite expensive and getting it to them safely is essential.
I am happy for all to see the Feedback on www.julleen.com and my Etsy store and for those who would like to go straight there now – here’s where to go
I really like working on the Etsy platform, as besides getting to share this site with other pearl jewellery designers, there is plenty of competition amongst us and this means striving, to be the best one can possibly be, to our customers and for the pearl jewellery industry, as a whole.
Contrary to popular belief, I think China has made we “old hands” in the pearl jewellery trade, more focused and deliberate, in giving the public a better taste of how Australian designers do things. We humanize the online sale when we take time to chat to our clients. No quick sell! for us, or for me anyway, I like seeing return business and this is my way of establishing that.
My followers are growing and it’s fun to see what other artisans do and know that my designs really are up to that competition.
Going back to the quote – keeping it human – I often re-read my feedback to see why my customers feel as they do, about the service I offer. When they honor me by purchasing an item of jewellery from the Julleen Jewels store on Etsy, then I repay that with listening to them. Hey, this is not to say each customer likes to chat or has the time, many sales have been made in a blink of any eye, in-fact 98%, however, I will let everyone know that I will go that extra mile for even the smallest of sales.
I try to give better service than the retail stores in the mall as people can’t touch and feel my jewellery. Jewellery is a tactile item and so to compensate, my clients get to see close ups of the item and nothing is too much for me to make sure my customer feels safe and secure buying on line.
And so in my way I think I am definitely sticking to – keeping it human.
I love watching classy shows on TV that are jammed packed with great fashion and fabulous accessories. Every now and again I find someone is wearing a Julleen Pearl Earring Design, or some very similar pieces that have been in the Julleen Pearl Jewellery, range for two decades but are still as popular today in 2019 as when they were first created.
Here’s the earring we are discussing today, one we call Cheryl! A Julleen swing style that holds one luscious 10 mm white pearl. How lovely to see the Katherine Heigl wearing a Julleen design on global TV.
Pearl Jewellery and particularly Pearl Dress Rings are really not as common as you would think. Soldering pearls with sterling silver is quite an art. It is for this reason we know the quality of a nice pearl ring is paramount. Recently black pearls are trending worldwide. I think most women now own a string of white pearls but really the black pearl is a little more rare and now people are wanting to expand their pearl collection with black pearls.
When I find a true black or coffee black Mabe Pearl and knowing it’s a rarity, I just love to have it set either into a pendant or a ring. A chocolate or coffee colour black mabe is hard to find now – many blacks have a blue green tinge to them.
Yes we do have pearl dress rings. The featured Black Pearl ring just sold yesterday to very lucky lady in Texas, USA. I felt the beauty of it should be recorded somewhere and it is for this reason, I made a little blog post today to celebrate the Julleen Pearl dress rings.
The one just below is featured in my Etsy store called Julleen Jewels and is a lovely design that will fit any size as it is adjustable! You may be the lucky person who gets to own this gorgeous ring – but be quick – these rare rings don’t last long.
